Our new store opened in October 2009 in a purpose built barn offering a relaxed traditional shopping experience with no pressure to buy and plenty of time to try. |

Gillian
 Gillian is seriously passionate about horses! She has worked with horses all of her life, working tirelessly to set up her own riding school at her family home of Duck End Stables, Stebbing. Gillian trained at Gleneagles in Scotland and then toured with the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions. She then returned to Duck End Stables to continue building up the riding school and to work on her own passion of Dressage. Gillian is a registered BHS AI and gives lessons by appointment at her own yard, or out at other local yards. She specialises in teaching dressage because of her own passion for the sport.
Gillian is extremely proud to have opened Walk to Canter Equestrian Supplies, and she is very grateful for all of the support she has received from her parents in setting up the business at their home.
Valerie
 Argueably the 'Real Boss', Valerie has worked tirelessly in helping to set up and run the family business of Walk to Canter. A true lover of all creatures (not just horses!), Valerie is responsible for the managerie of Donkeys, Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Guinea Pigs, Dogs, Cats and Miniature Ponies that you will also see scattered around at Duck End Stable
Georgina
 Georgina, Gillian's sister, also has a great passion for horses. Having worked with Gillian running the riding school since she left school, she now works with her Dad and her second passion, cars!
Georgina's always had a love for jumping and has recently stumbled across her new horse Elvis with who she is regularly taking to clear round and hoping to Affiliate with the BSJA very soon. Gillian has started to convert her to Dressage recently!. She regularly competes at affiliated dressage with her horse Amigo.
Georgina is on hand to help out at all the Walk to Canter evenings and events and looks forward to welcoming you.
Darren
 Being virtually one of the family, Darren has looked after the grounds and premises at Hill Farm for over twelve years now.
Darren is extremely dedicated and capable of absolutely anything (well that's what we think!). Darren was resposible for actually building the shop which is now Walk to Canter.
